2024 Sponsorship Marketing Awards 

The Sponsorship Marketing Council Canada created the Sponsorship Marketing Awards (SMAs) to distinguish best practices in sponsorship marketing and recognize outstanding achievements in strategic thinking and activation. The SMAs celebrate companies that have maximized their investments in sponsorship marketing by developing creative leveraging strategies that met their business objectives. The SMAs are open to any organization that uses sponsorship marketing to further its goals within Canada. Entries are accepted in either English or French (accompanied by an English translation).

The SMA Judging Committee has full discretion and authority to select a Gold and/or an Award of Distinction for each category. The winners reflect sponsorship effectiveness, rather than size, and are evaluated based on their success at meeting their objectives.

Scoring is weighted and reflects best practices in sponsorship marketing.

The winning cases will be endorsed as models of sponsorship marketing success. They will serve to elevate learning for the industry as we progress towards higher standards for sponsorship marketing as an accountable discipline that can drive brand and business results.
