ROLE SUMMARY:

XMC is looking for an energetic Account Manager/Senior Account Manager – Field Marketing who is ready to take on new and exciting challenges with Canada’s Official Experiential MarketingTM Agency. The Account Manager/Senior Account Manager – Field Marketing is the key client interface and is responsible for client program delivery and satisfaction. This role includes the planning, execution, and measurement of programs and projects within the parameters of the overall client brand strategy.

This role will oversee the day-to-day operations of a field marketing team, who will be stationed at retail locations and/or events to promote the client’s brand and increase product awareness. This role includes client relationship building and management for successful program delivery, as well as recognizing and realizing opportunities to grow the business.

KEY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

40% Contribute to the on-time and on-budget delivery of client programs including daily/weekly reporting, planning, project management and execution

30% Successful client interface and relationship building

20% Contribute to client strategy and program plan including innovative ideas, exploring new opportunities for client success and continuous improvement.

10% Overall XMC team contribution including sharing ideas, enabling the success of others and development of effective processes for delivery.

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION:

  • Related university degree, college diploma or equivalent industry experience

  • Five to seven years of marketing experience (XM/Sponsorship agency setting preferred)

  • Five to seven years of Field Marketing experience

  • Cannabis industry experience and knowledge a must

  • Project and program management experience

  • Ability to establish and grow trusted relationships

  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making capabilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Is results-focused: Demonstrates tenacity and dedication to achieving goals

  • Can be counted on to demonstrate effective and capable leadership under pressure

  • Strong team player and collaborates with others to achieve shared goals

  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Holds a valid driver’s license

  • Bilingualism an asset (French/English)
