SUMMARY: We are looking for a freelancer who understands the hockey industry to be able to create and execute strategic media buying for our partners programs.

CCMC has an position available for the right candidate to be part of our integrated team. The ideal candidate has a track record of over achievement working in a sales environment selling to large corporate accounts preferably within the media industry.

About the Canadian Hockey League

The Canadian Hockey League is the world’s largest development hockey league with 52 Canadian and eight American teams participating in the Ontario Hockey League, Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, and Western Hockey League. The CHL supplies more players to the National Hockey League and U SPORTS than any other league.

 

Responsibilities/Experience:

·        Responsible for the planning & execution of our 2021/2022 digital paid partnership strategy across social media channels (ie. Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat & YouTube)

·        Will work closely with our Social Media Strategist/Planner to ensure we are executing a strong, holistic digital strategy

·        Develop paid media strategies that satisfy campaign parameters and objectives for the CHL and our partners

·        In partnership with internal team and Social Media Strategist, address market concerns and timing

·        Prepare and present pre-buy and post-buy reports & presentations.

·        Execute all relevant revisions and optimizations to the media buy on-going

·        Explore promotional or value-added opportunities where applicable, ensuring we’re always building the strongest, most effective media strategies
