SMCC is pleased to share a preview of ADRENALIN's new Sport Event Research Portal, a powerful free search engine designed for sport event planners and sport rights holders to find the cities, sports venues, hotels, and event suppliers needed to run a successful sport event.
In March 2022, all SMCC Committees gathered virtually to hold the inaugural SMCC Committee workshop. The workshop was hosted by Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) Committee members Julian Franklin and Madhu Rupasinghe. The workshop aimed to cultivate connectivity and collaboration across all SMCC Committees and to ensure that DE&I is at the forefront of all SMCC initiatives.
The Sponsorship Marketing Council of Canada (SMCC) is pleased to announce the new Executive Committee of the Board of Directors. The Board provides leadership for carrying out SMCC’s mission to help brand marketers, agency partners and sponsorship sales teams unleash the power of sponsorship marketing through education, collaboration and access to best practices in the industry. As we look ahead to 2021, SMCC’s focus will be on continuing to drive increased value for our members, expanding awareness of sponsorship as an effective marketing tool, and building our membership base. We plan on increasing digital content, growing our diverse and inclusive community, and adding value in all SMCC Markets. We are pleased to welcome Steven Lewis as the new Chairperson of the Board, Lisa Ferkul as the new Vice-Chairperson of the Board, and Eric Nachman as the new Treasurer.
